Golf in the Canary Islands is becoming the first choice for all golfing holidays, with Tenerife being one of the most popular golfing destinations due to its all year round warm climate, accessibility & the majority of its courses are within close proximity of all our resorts.

Our high season ( Oct 01 – April 30 ) all of the Tenerife Golf courses are heavily booked. Therefore, throughout this period, we strongly advise you to pre-book all tee times before you
arrive on the island to avoid disappointment.

Tenerife Golf Courses

When you are going on a golfing holiday - Tenerife offers a wide selection of high quality golf courses, all open to the public. You can play at Golf del Sur, Golf Costa Adeje, Golf Los Palos, Golf Las Americas, Amarilla Golf, Buenavista Golf, Abama Golf and Tecina Golf Gomera.

Recent Tournaments

The Tenerife Ladies Open, which was the first of the Ladies European Tour’s season on European soil, took place at the prestigious Abama Hotel Resort in Guia Isora, on 27 – 30 April 2006.

The tournament was, for the first time in its history, played on the Dave Thomas designed golf course, which opened in 2004 and played host to the hugely successful Abama Open de Canarias in 2005.
